With over a decade of experience in sports nutrition and a PhD in Nutrition and Exercise Science, I work with athletes like you to optimise fuelling, recovery, and race-day strategies. My approach is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to your real-world training and lifestyle demands—helping you perform at your best without second-guessing your nutrition.

About My Approach

Endurance sport isn’t just about training hard, it’s about balancing everything else in life, too. Many endurance athletes juggle demanding careers, family responsibilities, and social lives alongside intense training schedules. Finding the time to fuel properly, let alone knowing what works best for your body, can feel overwhelming.

On top of that, the endurance world often comes with unspoken pressures around weight, body composition, and “leaner equals faster” messaging. If you’ve ever found yourself second-guessing your fuelling because of these pressures, or struggling with negative body image despite your dedication to training you’re not alone.

I take a compassionate, evidence-based approach to nutrition that prioritises performance, health, and longevity in your sport. My goal is to help you fuel with confidence, so you can train harder, recover smarter, and feel strong in your body, without the confusion, guilt, or restrictive approaches that can hold you back.

Whether you’re aiming for a PB, stepping up in distance, or simply wanting to feel better in your training, I’ll help you build a sustainable nutrition strategy that works for your goals, your body, and your life.

How I Work With Athletes 

1. Initial Consultation

  • Understanding Your Needs – I start with a deep dive into your current nutrition, training, and goals. We’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and where there’s room to optimise.

  • Personalised Strategy – Based on our discussion, I’ll develop a tailored approach to fuelling and recovery that fits into your daily life.

2. Ongoing Coaching & Support

  • Regular Check-ins – Nutrition isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan. I’ll work with you over time to adjust your strategy, track progress, and troubleshoot any challenges.

  • Education & Guidance – I want you to understand the ‘why’ behind your nutrition, so you feel confident making informed fuelling choices, whether it’s in training, racing, or everyday life.

  • Integration of the Latest Tech – I use the Hexis app to provide real-time, adaptive fuelling guidance based on your training intensity, helping you take the guesswork out of daily nutrition.

3. Performance & Race Preparation

  • Race-Day Nutrition Planning – We’ll develop a strategy to make sure your fuelling supports your best performance on race day making you the best version of yourself. 

  • Recovery & Long-Term Performance – Nutrition isn’t just about race day. I help athletes build sustainable habits that support health, longevity, and consistent performance.
