1:1 Performance nutrition coaching
You’re not here for cookie-cutter plans or diet culture nonsense. You’re here because you care about your sport, your performance, and your long-term wellbeing. You have found your sport and want to keep doing it forever. And you want a nutrition strategy that actually fits your life.
I help endurance athletes fuel with clarity and confidence—so you can train harder, recover better, and show up on race day feeling strong, ready, and proud of what your body can do.

Is this you?
You train consistently but still feel flat, fatigued, or frustrated by bonks and crashes.
You’re doing “everything right” but can’t shake the guilt that comes with eating more.
You’re juggling a demanding job, training plan, and maybe a family, and nutrition keeps falling off the list.
You left “fitness” culture behind to pursue endurance sport, but still find yourself carrying old hang-ups around food, body image, and training expectations.
You’re tired of second-guessing every bite and just want a plan that works.
You’re not broken. You’re not weak. You’re underserved by the advice you’ve been given. Let’s change that.
“The best nutritionist money can buy. Paul has been an invaluable asset to my training program and fitness goals. His tailored 1 on 1 approach has not only helped me digest his advice but also given me knowledge that I can implement into my every day nutrition. Paul’s methods cut through the marketing maze that is commercial nutrition and gives science backed evidence based advice. I used Paul for a 70.3 Iron Man and will be using him again.”
Taylor Anderson · Triathlete, Ironman 70.3
A moment that changed everything
I remember pulling up during a university training session, sweat stinging my eyes, legs like concrete, and the world just started to narrow. The first of many times I would experience tunnel vision whilst training. I was under-fed, under-recovered and struggling to do the sport I loved.
Later that evening, I caught myself zoning out mid-conversation, thinking about food. Not in a light, “what’s for pudding” kind of way, but an all-consuming mental loop: when would I eat, what could I eat, had I eaten too much? I was exhausted, not just physically, but mentally.
I thought I was doing everything right. I followed the advice of the “top” people in the sport. Leaner = better, eat light, train hard. That was the gospel. Except… it wasn’t working. I was trying harder than ever and going backwards. I ultimately left the sport, completely burnt out.
Studying nutrition at a high level gave me the knowledge to eventually fix my own fuelling. No more light headedness. No more obsessive food thoughts. Just stronger sessions, better recovery, and finally, joy in the process.
That experience drives everything I do now. I coach so that you don’t have to learn the hard way. You don’t need to guess, restrict, or wait for your body to break down before getting support.
You deserve to feel powerful in your sport, without sacrificing your health to get there.

I’ve honestly learnt so much, I feel so much more prepared for any future event, plus know what I need to do. Paul’s attention to detail was fantastic, even looking up my event to tailor everything we were doing towards it.
Sam Popperwell · Triathlete
Even though I felt like I knew a reasonable amount about my fueling beforehand, having access to the knowledge of an expert really gave me the extra tools to maximise my performance. With Paul’s help I was able to comfortably achieve my 70.3 goal time.
Michael Johnson · Triathlete, Ironman 70.3
Got questions?
Nope. While we might explore certain tools to help you notice patterns, I don’t believe in obsessive tracking. The goal is confident fuelling that fits your life, not calorie-counting every crumb.
Not at all. We start with what you already enjoy and build from there. I don’t hand out generic meal plans. This is a collaborative process that respects your preferences, culture, and lifestyle.
That fear is more common than people admit. We work at a pace that feels safe, with full transparency and compassion. You’re in charge. My job is to support you in fuelling for performance, not pressure you to eat more than you’re comfortable with.
Yes. Many of my clients are taking on new challenges—from first half-marathons to first Ironman. This is for anyone who wants to learn to fuel properly and feel good doing it.
Definitely. Even seasoned athletes often find they’ve been underfuelling or missing key details. Advanced doesn’t mean immune to bad advice. If you’re looking to fine-tune for PBs or higher performance, this is for you.
Book a free discovery call. We’ll chat about your training, goals, and where nutrition might be letting you down. If it’s a good fit, we’ll go from there.
I am incredibly busy with work a lot of the time, and Paul has facilitated this completely, giving me the time and space to be able to give updates in my own time. I would highly recommend Paul’s services to anyone who needs support when trying to achieve their nutritional goals. Almost 1 year on and I am much happier and healthier than I thought would be possible in that time frame.

Paul has played an important role in building awareness of the importance of good nutrition. Every year he gives a lecture and then follows up with athletes. He’s been particularly important for the development of the clubs lightweight program.
