Build a race-day fuelling plan with products from every major brand, not just one. Set carb targets for each leg, pick your gels, chews, drinks and real food, and see your totals as you go.
General guidance only. Practise your plan in training before race day.
Add your expected bike and run times and a carbohydrate target per hour for each leg. Targets can differ between legs.
Pick from gels, chews, drinks and whole foods such as dates, bananas and jam sandwiches. Filter by type, brand or caffeine.
Add servings as often as every 15 minutes. Live totals for carbs, sodium and caffeine show how you are tracking against your targets.
Download a PDF with your timeline and a shopping and packing list, or have it emailed to you.
Most fuelling planners from the big brands only let you build a strategy with their own products. This one lets you mix Precision Fuel, SiS, OTE, STYRKR, High5, Mountain Fuel and more with whole food options like dates, bananas and jam sandwiches, so the plan reflects what you will actually eat on race day.
Practise your plan in long training sessions before race day, so you know how your gut copes with the products and the amounts.
Not sure what your targets should be? Start with the Race-Day Fuel Calculator. Not sure how long each leg will take? Use the Triathlon Pace Calculator first. For more on fuelling, read the blog.
